This firm really seems to convey the kind of practice I would like to work in some day if I ever become an architect; french and cool. They obviously deal with a range of issues, but are still rooted within the centre of the public realm and their solutions seem innovative. The work produced seems to work for me because it is tangible and realistic, and still fits in with the dynamics of a city even as a modern build. AND their website even has friendly little photos of them roasting a full grown pig. Like I said french and cool.
Looking throughgh their buildings they do allot of that, thick outer skin facade which I've been thinking about for one of my buildings, and use reflective surfaces too so you kind of get these heavy forms which still deal with light in a light way, good CAD too.
At the moment they are researching into vertical farming and seem to be creating the kind of ecologically friendly sites that would be both culturally and commerically viable. SOA I like you.
