Everyone always criticises the Millenium Dome but I was a child when I visited and I couldn't have cared less about how it acted as an expensive decoy for the government; It was massive and there were giant things inside and I couldn't have been happier. Architecturally speaking it was also quite important as it coincides with the death of postmodernist architecture at the start of 2000. I'm not sure if I want to be an Architect but if I did become one, being part of something as fun and exciting as this would be amazing (only with less of the failure).
